Waples has chosen to be more than just a beautiful architectural landmark on the west end of historic downtown Denison. Waples is a caring and loving community that is committed to growing families in faith and the love of God. We want to reach out to share God's spirit of love with people who need the presence of God in their lives all while expressing concern for those in need in our community and around the world. WHAT UNITED METHODISTS BELIEVE
As United Methodists we have a strong conviction that God has mercy and love for all people, a belief in a triune God consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, an unshakable faith in the mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ, and the belief in the celebration of the sacraments. We are founded on the idea of prevenient grace which is a divine grace which precedes human decision.
