Have kids? Don't worry - kids are a BIG priority at Waples! We love the next generation and we believe that they're going to change the world 🚀
Kids are welcome in all Waples services. Every service is family-friendly!
In fact, they're not just welcomed - they're encouraged to worship and learn with the adults!
We don't think of church services as "big church" or only for the adults.
We believe that kids are just as much a part of the church as any one of us.
We also have available a nursery and parent room if needed.

Joining In-Person?
Do you connect best with traditional hymns, liturgical responses, and an intimate atmosphere? Then our Traditional service is for you. Each week you can expect an interactive Call to Worship, hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal, the Gloria Patri and Doxology, in addition to an engaging message. This is approximately a 45-minute service.
If you enjoy a variety of contemporary songs as well as hymns, a choir, kids time, and a larger space then our Blended service is perfect for you. In our sanctuary, we have a space especially made for kids to craft and experiment in ways that help them connect to the service. You will find the traditional elements of acolytes, a choir piece, and a children’s message each week while enjoying the more modern kids' area and worship style. This is approximately a one-hour service.

Joining Waples online? Join from anywhere. Your living room, your car, your grandma's house. No matter where you are, you can participate in Waples UMC.
