Kids are welcome in all Waples services. Every service is family-friendly!

 

In fact, they're not just welcomed - they're encouraged to worship and learn with the adults!

 

We don't think of church services as "big church" or only for the adults.

 

We believe that kids are just as much a part of the church as any one of us.

Kids' Sunday School Classes

Our Kids' Sunday School classes meet at 10am on Sunday mornings. We believe that the church is called to partner with parents to attend to the spiritual growth and nourishment of our children. By encountering God at home and in church children receive spiritual nourishment and discover God’s love for them. Our amazing volunteers are dedicated to the spiritual growth of our children. Through weekly Bible lessons and activities children discover the truth of God’s Word.

Nursery-

Our nursery is open and staffed for newborns through 3 year old's from 9am to 12pm. Our nursery staff are CPR and First Aid certified and have a heart for children. 

 

Pre-K and Kindergarten-

Kids between the ages of 3 and 6 are welcome to join our Sunday School class at 10am on Sunday mornings. This class works through various children’s curriculum to help your children discover the love of God and the truth of His word. Our teachers are dedicated to the spiritual growth and nurture of our children. 

 

1st Grade through 5th-

1st-5th grade students are encouraged to join Kim Wright and Jody King at 10am for Sunday School. Kim and Jody have faithfully served at Waples for many years in a variety of ways, but both specifically have a heart for sharing Jesus with students. This class is always active with crafts and fun activities that help students grasp the importance of God’s word and experience God’s love for them.
